Prerequisites for using the REST API
Before using the Bold360 AI REST API, you should have access to the following items.
- An account on the Bold360 Admin Center with the "Account
Manager" role.
- If you do not have a Bold360 AI account and knowledge base, contact your Customer Success Manager or request a demo.
- A knowledge base (KB) containing at least a few articles. You'll need to know
the name and ID number of the KB you are using.
- If you don't know the name or ID number, see Forming URLs for REST API endpoints.
- If your KB does not contain any articles, you can quickly import some sample articles from an online FAQ or contact your Customer Success Manager about importing articles from an Excel spreadsheet.
- You can perform these quickstarts using a web browser and local files. Any procedures that require web pages to be hosted using a localhost or remote web server note that requirement.
